At Kendall, our goal is to engage students in their learning in order to help them succeed academically and be prepared for their future careers. As many of our students have already chosen their career paths, we have a unique demand and opportunity to create learning experiences that are practical, relevant and engaging.

Our constructivist philosophy employs the student-centered approaches to teaching and learning, including active learning, contextualized learning, and applied learning. The Teaching Toolbox supports our faculty in carrying out our pedagogical philosophy using the instructional strategies explained on this website.
